That is not what I meant, at all! Women can and are heroes whether they become mothers or not. My issue with this scene is that it doesn’t really fit the flow of the movie, making it feel that they threw it in just to show that Diana, who has never seen a baby, loves babies instinctively, as if we have to see that in order to value her.

In my opinion, we see a lot of representation of women who have or want children, and it didn’t feel needed here. Not all women want to be or can be mothers, so it felt odd they forced this scene into the movie in a way they wouldn’t have if she was a man.
